QUALITY - TRACEABILITY

Quality and Food safety are top priority within our company. Important means of prevention & control have been implemented as following :



QUALITY APPROACH :
Our Quality approach is based on HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), from supplier selection to dispatch of the finished products. Hazard Analysis concerns micro, chemical & physical aspects & allergens risk.



Since 2004, the company is accredited against EFSIS/BRC standard (British Retailer Consortium). In 2006, we were successful getting IFS accreditation (International Food Standard). These 2 standards show evidence of a constant quality.

CAREFULLY SELECTED RAW MATERIALS :
As soon as the raw materials are selected, the suppliers are audited, then listed for approval once trials are positive. Precise specifications are set up and the suppliers are constantly evaluated on the quality & service they offer.


QUALITY CONTROL :
At all stages of production, several checks are performed. Checks concern the raw materials, packagings, finished products & the manufacturing process.

STAFF INVOLVEMENT :
Methods are implemented to increase staff awareness & involvement & each member of our staff pay the greatest attention to good hygiene, production & safety practices and also benefit from support & training (training, individual meeting, sponsorship for part time members, permanent awareness program at work stations…)

 
 

Logistics

In order to meet the needs for speed & reactivity, Crêperie Jarnoux acquired a computer program (EDI) and efficient tools to prepare orders with a unique goal: deliver our customers according to their wishes.

 
 

R&D

An internal team is in charge of developing recipes, working on new projects in order to meet the requirements of our customers & the market needs.

 
 

Private Label

Always attentive to new potential markets & new perspectives, Bernard Jarnoux is offering to the different distributors his know how to produce under their private label. The product ranges have been adapted to suit the requirements of this particular market. Reactivity is an essential part in our business and we are able to adapt our packagings upon demand (printed film).
